Just Sustainability Debut!

Hi everybody!

Though it’s snowy and a wee bit dreary in most of Minnesota, we are approaching the spring equinox.

Spring is the season of birth and newness. Indeed, growing up in the boreal forests of northern Alberta, I was routinely reminded in March that I needed to be particularly cautious because early spring is the time that newborn bear cubs exit their dens for the first time. That being the case, mother bears would be particularly protective (and probably a little hangry after a winter of torpor).

This year, in addition to cranky and hungry bears protecting their new babies, the spring equinox also brings the official debut for Just Sustainability.

Please join me on Saturday, March 20th for the first episode of this podcast, where I’ll introduce you to Dr. Fayola Jacobs, assistant professor in the urban and regional planning area in the Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities.
