About

Just Sustainability is a podcast that offers you the opportunity to listen to curious conversations exploring the intersection of sustainability, equity, and social justice. Just Sustainability is a resource for folks who are interested in learning and thinking about how equity and environment interact and who want to approach solving environmental problems in ways that are better informed by social justice (or solving social justice problems in ways that are more environmentally conscious).

Clement Loo teaches Environmental Studies and serves as the Student Success Coordinator within Equity, Diversity, and Intercultural Programs at the University of Minnesota Morris. He’s also an Educator and a member of the Faculty Leadership Council of the Institute on the Environment as well as a member of the board of the Southwest Regional Sustainability Partnership at the University of Minnesota. Clement likes to think about equitable food systems, collective decision-making and governance that empowers and liberates, and how the academy can stand in solidarity and be of better service to communities. It’s very likely that he will post poems that he likes, music videos, and extended essays about science fiction on any venue that he can.
